Consignment is a wonderful way to continue the life cycle of your luxury garments, passing on the joy to someone new.
Contributing to a more sustainable, circular fashion economy, can start with a simple sneak peek in to your wardrobe...talk to us about finding your #notnew pieces a new home.
HOW IT WORKS:
Please read our CONSIGNMENT TERMS, CONDITION STANDARDS & DESIGNER LIST before you contact us, thank you.
If you are happy your piece meets the standards criteria, the next bit is nice and easy...
- Simply take a picture of the piece(s) you would like to consign and email them, along with your contact details and a proof of authenticity or purchase*, where possible, to: hello@notnew.nz. One of our team will then contact you within seven working days to find out a little bit more about your item(s).
*Authentication may be required as part of our acceptance terms
- If your piece(s) are accepted, we will do everything else...photograph, list your lovely garments on the notnew.nz website and manage the sales process.
- Once your piece(s) have sold, we will let you know and you will receive payment. This is a choice between receiving a cash settlement of 50% of the profit (including GST) or 60% of the profit (including GST) of store credit to use on the notnew.nz site.
NOT NEW CONSIGNMENT TERMS:
Sale of piece:
NOT NEW have sole discretion in determining the initial selling price for each piece. This is based on its condition and evaluation of the current market price for that item and where it sits with other items for sale on notnew.nz.
Selling period and returns:
Consigned pieces will be on sale for three months from their 'go live' date. The 'go live' date is the date that they first appeared on the notnew.nz website for sale. You will be notified of the 'go live' date.
If pieces are unsold after four weeks, they will be reduced by 20% from the original price. Any pieces that are unsold after eight weeks will be reduced by 50% from the original price.
After 12 weeks, any unsold pieces will be removed from notnew.nz. We will notify you of this, and ask that you collect your unsold pieces within two weeks from the date of notice. We can arrange a courier to deliver your pieces back to you at your own expense.
If unsold pieces are not collected or courier arranged (paid by you) within two weeks, they will be donated to a charity of NOT NEW's choice.
Payments:
Congratulations, your piece has sold!
You have a choice of how you would like to receive your payment:
1. A cash settlement of 50% of the selling price (including GST) of your piece(s) is all yours and will be popped in to your specified bank account.
